Perez Hilton: Michael Jackson Vienna Tribute Gears Up, To Be Broadcast Worldwide

A Michael Jackson tribute in Vienna will feature a 3 hour parade of stars and will be televised globally to 1 billion people. At the moment negotiations are underway to determine which networks will get the broadcast. The tribute's lineup is also in talks, with Madonna, U2, Lionel Richie and Whitney Houston to possibly perform. The tribute is scheduled for the second half of September and tickers to go on sale August 20th with a "significant portion" of the proceeds donated to several different charities. The tribute will take place in Vienna because it is believed that Michael would have preferred it because "It's a little bit like Neverland, but much bigger." This has disaster written all over it!
